VIWINTECH

Evan Rittgers has joined ViWinTech Windows & Doors, the Paducah, Ky.-based manufacturer, as its president. He brings nearly nine years of experience in operations management, product development, and distribution to his new position, most recently serving as plant manager for a major window manufacturer.

WINDSOR

Patrick Morrison has been promoted to the position of division controller for the window group at Windsor Windows & Doors. He joined the Iowa-based manufacturer in 2006 and has held a variety of positions with progressive supervisory experience.

VENTANA

Andrew Rodriguez has joined Ventana USA as European systems product manager. In this role, he supports window and door fabricator customers in marketing the Pennsylvania-based specialty manufacturer’s tilt/turn windows, swing doors, fold and slide doors, and lift and slide doors to the residential and commercial markets. Rodriquez’s experience includes six years with a dealer and installer of windows and doors serving homeowners.

CRYSTAL

Two members of the Crystal Window & Door Systems management staff have been named to key sales positions. Blaise Benevenga, who joined the New York-based manufacturer in 2010 as the lead sales representative for expanding operations in New Jersey, was recently named regional sales manager for New England and New Jersey. He previously worked at Silver Line and Dor-Win Manufacturing.

Steven Yu has taken on the sales management position in the Mid- Atlantic States. Previously, he headed Crystal’s marketing department, where he is credited with sharpening the manufacturer’s corporate image through advertising, sales literature, online presence, trade shows and other efforts. He is leading the company’s sales expansion efforts in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina.

SOFT-LITE GORELL

Operating as newly-merged organization, Soft-Lite Gorell has promoted three team members to new positions to develop and enhance the replacement window and door maker’s ability to serve its customer base. Steve Cespedes has been promoted to national account manager-corporate business development, Furman Raine is now director of sales-Eastern division, and Kevin Koznick is director of sales-Western division.

Cespedes started in customer service/order entry with Soft- Lite more than nine years ago. His tenure includes a stint in the manufacturing plant and service as a regional sales manager in 11 states. As part of his new duties, Cespedes is account manager for the vinyl window manufacturer’s large accounts. In addition, he serves as Soft-Lite Gorell’s official company trainer and will work on marketing platforms with Irving.

A nearly seven-year employee with Soft-Lite, Raine has 25 years of experience in the building fenestration industry, with a specialized focus on windows and doors over the past 18 years. Covering the Eastern U.S. from Maine to Florida, including Tennessee and Alabama, his team consists of Charley Dorsey, John Hudnall and Larry Creech.

Koznick has six years of experience with Soft-Lite and another 10 in the vinyl siding industry, covering the same territory as his new Soft- Lite Gorell position—west from Pittsburgh to Colorado and south from Minnesota to Texas. His team consists of Bob Richards, Tom Sena, Chris Hill, Eric Myers, Mark Hobbs and Carol Leonard.

ABC SUPPLY

Building products distributor ABC Supply Inc. has named Todd Buehl to the newly created position of vice president and chief administrative officer. In this role, he focuses on acquisitions, real estate, risk management and internal process improvements. Buehl has worked on key acquisitions for ABC Supply in the past, including its 2010 acquisition of Bradco Supply Corp., and has served on the Beloit, Wis., based company’s board of directors since 2008.
