People TRUTH Jeff Graby is the new president and CEO of Truth Hardware. He brings more than 20 years of Graby experience as a senior executive to the Minnesota-based manufacturer of operating hardware for the window and door industry. Most recently, Graby served as executive vice president and business unit leader at Interface Solutions. Prior to that, he held the position of president at Schneider Electric HVAC and Pumping Solution Center and President and COO of RAM Industries. PGT Todd Antonelli has joined PGT Industries as vice president of sales and marketing. He comes to the Florida-based window and door manufacturer from Masco Corp., where he most recently was director of sales for Masco Cabinetry. PGT has also named Debbie LaPinska to the newly-created position of vice president of customer relations. In her new role, she serves as customer advocate to provide a comprehensive and authoritative view of the customer at the highest level to the organization and help ensure greater customer value and increased loyalty, officials note. REHAU Christian Fabian has been appointed to the position of incoming CEO of Rehau North America beginning in July. He succeeds Kathleen “Kitty” Saylor , who will be stepping down after an 18-year career with the extruder of vinyl window profiles, as well as manufacturer of many other plastic products. Fabian brings more than 20 years of experience working within Rehau operations around the world, including Germany, France and England. In 2005, he 48 | Window & Door | June/July 2012 became director of Rehau North America’s industry business division in Leesburg, Va., overseeing sales and marketing initiatives for products serving furniture, appliance and other industry segments. Fabian was appointed to VP of marketing and sales in 2006, and in 2011, his executive management oversight was extended into Rehau’s construction business. CASCADE Jim Ehlers has joined Cascade Windows based in Spokane Valley, Wash., as its new vice president of sales and marketing. He brings more than 25 years of experience at all levels of the vinyl window and glass door business to the manufacturer, which serves much of the West from plants in Washington, Oregon and Utah. Ehlers most recently held sales and marketing positions for Ply Gem Windows and Milgard Windows. WDDA Lily Grossman has joined the Window & Door Dealers Alliance and the National Glass Association as senior manager of education and training. With a strong education and training background, particularly with respect to e-learning, she manages MyWindowClass.com and MyGlassClass.com, and is also responsible for the development of industry forums and seminars, as well as new product development. QUANEX Karin Emery has been appointed to customer service manager for Quanex Building Products’ window Emery and door systems group. The Houston-based supplier has also added Tonya McDonald and Tina Bailey at its IG systems group as customer service representatives. Based in Kent, Wash., Emery will lead Quanex’s vinyl and composite extrusion unit’s customer service departments in Kent; Richmond, Ky.; and Winnebago, Ill. She has extensive McDonald customer service experience in the fenestration industry, most recently serving as inside sales manager with Ply Gem Windows. Bailey McDonald and Bailey serve as customer service representatives at Quanex IG Systems’ operations in Cambridge, Ohio. Responsibilities for both include advocating for internal and external customers while building and maintaining relationships. NARI Michael Hydeck of Hydeck Design Build in Telford, Pa., was recently elected as chairman of the board for the National Association of the Remodeling Industry. The organization also elevated Dean Herriges of Urban Herriges & Sons Inc. in Mukwonago, Wis. to the office of president. Also serving as officers for NARI are Fred Spaulding of Quality Home Improvements Inc. in Kingwood, Texas, as president-elect; Art Donnelly of Legacy Builders & Remodelers Corp., in Holbrook, N.Y., as treasurer; and Kevin Anundson of Owner Assisted Remodeling in Elm Grove, Wis., as secretary.
